Shelbie Hankey
ATTORNEY
Shelbie Hankey is a native of Cullman County, Alabama. After working full-time while completing her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, she was accepted into and attended law school at Cumberland School of Law. She has lived in several different states, including studying law in London, England where she was living when the 9/11 attacks happened. After returning to the United States, she completed her law degree and worked for one of the largest firms in Alabama, Maynard, Cooper and Gale, P.C., where she worked in mass tort litigation. She believes her life experiences lend her the ability to more effectively relate to and better represent her clients.
Jamie Hankey

Jamie Hankey is responsible for the daily operations of the firm. He graduated from Cullman High School and later attended both Wallace State Community College and Athens State College. His career spans over 30 years in the area of Operations, Human Resources, Distribution and Retail Management, beginning with Wal-Mart Distribution and
Catherine Howell
ATTORNEY
Catherine Howell was born in a small town in southern Idaho but has lived in Cullman County, Alabama since 2005 and proudly calls it home. Catherine attended Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama and graduated from there in the summer of 2019. While there, she earned her Associate’s Degree (completing the Paralegal Program), was part of Phi Theta Kappa, Sigma Kappa Delta and the WSCC Paralegal Club. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Who’s Who and Paralegal Program awards. Before joining Hankey Law Firm, LLC, she worked for two years as a paralegal at a bankruptcy law firm in Birmingham, Alabama.
Sheila Gilley
ATTORNEY
Sheila Gilley is a paralegal with Hankey Law Firm, LLC. She was born in Huntsville, Alabama and considers Cullman as home. She graduated from Cullman High School and attended Wallace State Community College and the American Institute of Banking. Ms. Gilley has over thirty-five years of extensive knowledge and experience in Human Resources, Banking and Marketing.
